Durable Water Repellency

Outdoor Approach can offer a solution to your problems. By cleaning and applying a water repellent product, we will keep you comfortable and extend the life of your garment.

Overtime, all fabrics loose their ability to repel water. A lack of water repellency leads to wet fabric surfaces. This causes the following to occur:

• Wet fabric conducts heat from the body causing you to feel cold. The cold surface can lead to condensation inside the garment, creating the perception that the garment is leaking when it is not.
• Wetted out fabrics can double the weight of your garment. Breathability of wet fabrics is reduced.
